How To Start A Spiritual Journal To Grow Closer To Christ
Do you need to connect with God but don’t know where to start? Perhaps you feel ready to start a spiritual journal but don’t know how. Either way, don’t worry…I’ve got you.
As women, sometimes words are not enough to communicate our deepest thoughts, especially when we feel disconnected. One thing I’ve learned is to grab a pen and write exactly how I feel instead of bottling up my emotions.
I also know that it’s sometimes difficult to admit to others that you feel disconnected from God. Most times, we rarely talk about things like this and try to figure them out all alone… but that’s just one more reason why I love journaling so much.
This guide is a safe space; the beginner tips I’ll share here will help you discover yourself and start a fresh spiritual journey with God. Keep an open mind while you read. This is a no-judgment zone. Continue reading
Prayers For A Toxic Work Environment That Has Become Unbearable!
I used to hate going to work when I started my first real job. Why? Because I was having ummm, how shall we say, difficulties at work with my supervisor.
And because of that, I went to work with a feeling of anxiety and dread in my stomach. If you’ve ever worked in a toxic work environment then you understand what I mean. You may love what you’re actual job entails but you struggle to love the people you work with.
I know that Jesus has told us to love everyone but frankly some people don’t make it easy. It is what it is.
But even still that’s what we are supposed to do. So what are some ways we can lovingly deal with people at work who we might just want to toss into the river (okay I don’t mean that literally, of course)?
I have some ideas and also a prayer that you can write down and say before and during work so that no one gets hurt lol
Overcoming Fear with Faith: 5 Practical Tips To Let Go & Let God
Fear used to be my go-to emotion in any situation. I wasn’t always like that but over time, the devil assisted me in becoming addicted to anxiety.
Maybe you can relate…
Have you ever been too afraid to try something because you fear failing again?
Been there done that (still do at times!)
Have fearful thoughts deprived you of all the liberty you should enjoy as a Christian woman?
Do you feel held back because you fear that you’ll make a grave mistake?
Maybe you’re starting to believe those nagging thoughts that tell you you’ll never be good enough at anything you do.
What about when you’ve prepared adequately for your presentation, but you’re afraid you’ll look like a fool in front of so many? (Ugh, I’ve so been there and done that…embarrassingly so).
“When will I ever be good enough? When will I ever be free to live truly, love, and laugh?”
Does that sound like you?
Do you sense that being afraid is costing you joy, fulfillment, accomplishments, stability, and some extra peace of mind?
If this resonates with you, trust me when I say it resonates so much with me cos that’s the exact person I used to be… till I discovered the secrets of overcoming fear with faith.
I know you want a change…and I hope that the tips I’m going to share with you today will be the beginning of that change.
Fear is not something that overwhelms me constantly like it once did.

Spending time with God is always important but right now, with how crazy the world seems, it feels even more vital.
But even as essential as it is to spend quality time with God, it still seems like so much of life gets in the way of this happening.
In our busyness, our time with our heavenly Father gets pushed to the side in favor of “more pressing” things.
We’ll say “I’ll do my study tomorrow” and then 10 tomorrows go by and we still haven’t spent any time with the Lord.
So what’s a Christian woman with a busy schedule supposed to do?
We could say no more often but if you’ve already committed to long-term, time-consuming commitments, it’s a bad witness to abandon your responsibilities.
You need some creative ideas that can help you spend more time with Jesus whether it be in prayer, Bible study, through worship and singing, Bible journaling, etc.
Being alone with God on a frequent basis is one of the best ways to obtain the spiritual growth that God wants us to have (and that we want too).
Alone time with God is one of the most important aspects of Christian living.
That’s why I’ve come up with some unique ways to spend more time with Jesus even when you’re short on time!
These are ideas that you probably haven’t considered.
In fact, some of the ideas are a little outside of the box so to speak so you’ll have to be a little open-minded with me here 🙂
None of these ideas are meant to take the place of a true deep dive Bible study.
But they will still help you stay connected to the Father because you’ll be spending time with Him throughout the day.
Okay now, let’s go ahead and get started.
35 Journal Prompts For Forgiveness To Help Release Pain & Anger
If you’re struggling to forgive yourself or someone else, I know exactly how that feels.
Trust me…you’re not alone.
We all have a past, one that we’re sometimes not proud of… but how can we ever move past our guilt if we don’t forgive ourselves for our sins and past mistakes?
The same goes for when someone we love hurts us; even when (or if) they apologize, it can seem almost impossible to forgive them.
Because it feels like we are letting them off the hook or like they got away with something.
As Christian women, yes, the Bible tells us to love our neighbor as ourselves, but when someone deeply hurts us and we cannot seem to heal, how can we move on from this pain?
One powerful way is with journal prompts!
Let me tell you… journaling has been a powerful tool for exploring my feelings and working through my emotions.
Penning down my thoughts and feelings helped me understand them better and became a great way to release the negative energy that seemed trapped inside me.
Have you found yourself in this same situation? Well, it’s time to let go of your anger and forgive yourself and others.
Grab a pen and paper; let’s get through this journaling journey together!
17 Christian Faith Journal Prompts To Elevate Your Faith & Get Closer To God
Okay, my loves! Today we are going to talk about using faith journal promptsDo you ever ask where God is when everything in your life seems to be going wrong?
I know I have plenty of times! Sometimes it seems like God isn’t even trying to answer our prayers even though He tells us to pray without ceasing.

Thoughts like “Does He hear our prayers?” “And if He does, hear them, does He care” begins to run through our minds.

Writing down your prayers, thoughts cares, and fears in a journal is a wonderful way to be able to reflect back on your faith journey and remind yourself that God does indeed care and answer your prayers!
And using Christian journaling prompts is a great way to spark some inspiration when you aren’t sure what to write. Let’s learn about some of the spiritual benefits of using a Christian journal.

Bible verses for weight loss
I’ve been struggling lately.
I know that, as a Christian woman, my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and that means what I eat is important to God.
Why?
Because what I eat goes into my body!
And the body is what?
The Holy Spirit’s temple!
So when I eat junk food it not only affects my physical health but also my spiritual health.
The problem so many of us face though is that unhealthy food is so much more convenient than healthy food.
And then the weight gain begins and accelerates and accumulates and it’s just out of control!
That’s when we need peace and rest in the arms of Jesus and His word because doing this on our own just isn’t going to work!
So if you need some encouragement to get back on track with your weight loss journey please stick around because you’re in the right place!
Today we are going to talk about:
-The weight loss journey and its struggles
-Health problems that come from being overweight
-Emotional eating and why we do it
-How to renew our minds
