Pray for others
Youâre probably thinking, âI have my own issues and challenges.â I understand that. However, praying for others helps you to build empathy, look away from your problems, and also aligns you spiritually.
Every morning, pray for someone and write your thoughts or prayers for them in your faith or prayer journal. Encourage them if you can, and youâll feel the same encouragement you share with them.
You can journal about it and ask God to help you forgive. Youâll be happier and freer when you do.
Spend Wisely: Quality over Quantity
This financial advice might seem weird, but it has saved many middle-aged women from having their house and life full of cheap, poor-quality items and even people.
Train your mind to embrace quality over quantity. Before you make another impulsive purchase, ask yourself âDo I need 3 cheap versions of this item, or should I save towards an original thatâll serve me long-term?â
Donât hustle more, rest
A lot of us women always feel we need to work harder, even when we already work too hard. We think productivity is measured by long hours of work. But rest is also productive.
When youâre well-rested, you make better decisions. Youâll also be obeying Godâs command.
If you struggle to rest, get a self-care planner, intentionally schedule rest days or hours, and really rest.
Read the ingredients label, not just the nutrition facts
Now, letâs get to what we eat.
Weâre often conditioned to count calories and avoid carbs, but truly prioritizing your health and wellness is more about knowing what youâre actually consuming and whether itâs healthy for you.
Steward your health diligently. Take note of the ingredients in your favorite products and cut out unhealthy ingredients.
Declutter one itemâjust one
Not your entire house. Not even your entire living room; just one item at a time. You can declutter an item a day or a week; just maintain a pace that isnât overwhelming.
When you do this, you build momentum without any pressure. Youâll be surprised at how many items youâll have in your donation or recycling box after some time.
Leave one positive note for someone each day
Positivity is contagious. Share a compliment, a kind word, or a positive note with someone every day, whether your partner, child, or colleague. Youâll feel as good as you make them feel, and your bond will be stronger.
Have a planner or notepad handy, think of a statement thatâll mean a lot to that person, and write it to them.
Set one micro-goal that scares you a little
We all have goals that scare us; I do, too. But weâll never stop being scared if we donât act. The more goals you smash, the more confident you become.
Get a Personal Growth Planner and write out the goals that scare you, then begin working on the least scary one.
If you struggle with fear, repeat 2 Timothy 1:7 to yourself âFor God has not given us the spirit of fearâŠ..â
Journal about one life lesson per week
As you spend time following these creative life reset ideas, youâll begin to have new experiences. At the end of every week, write about one lesson you have learned in your Faith journal and reflect on it. The best way to grow is to learn.
Unplug for one hour a day
No matter what youâre doing, schedule an hour a day to unplug from technology. Spend the hour on prayer, meditation, rest, or connecting with family.
Itâll reset your mind, improve focus, and help you become more present in the things that matter.
Create accommodations for your life
Although they might seem like unconventional personal growth tips, these actions are small but powerful. They add up over time and transform your mindset and habits massively.
* Why Unconventional Ideas Work *
Unlike what youâve been made to believe, transformation doesnât lie in grand gestures or big steps. It comes from consistently taking small, faith-based steps and building long-lasting habits.
Before long, these habits transform your entire life for the better.
Focusing on mindset shifts, celebrating small wins, and prioritizing spiritual alignments often have a bigger long-term impact than conventional ideas.
* How Planners & Journals Help *
I love planners and journals because they help you take notes, write your reflections, and track your progress.
Writing things out will always be more concrete than just having them in your head.
I recommend using a prayer journal like this one to record prayers for others, a faith journal for forgiveness reflections, and a personal growth journal to track micro-goals.

What Does It Mean To Get Your Life Together? Letâs Talk About It!
Life has a way of turning out completely different from how we expected it to, and we often begin to realize this in our 30s. Have you wondered to yourself, âHow come I donât have it together by now?â
âWhy does it seem like everyone else has left me behind?â This feeling is common to many women who are in the same place as you. You probably spent the past years managing a career, raising a family, or chasing a passion.
But right now, you probably have some questions running through your mind, âWhy doesnât my life look like this personâs life?â âWhy donât I have what they have?â

* The Most Important Step In Getting Your Life Together Is…*
Want to read this post later? Click here to save the picture below to one of your Pinterest boards!
I strongly believe that the first step to a successful life reset is organizing life with God. The spiritual component holds it all together, and it is more important than any physical plan or strategy.
So, begin by reconnecting with God in prayer. Embrace prayer journaling, where you write out your thoughts and prayers and ask God to guide you.
As you receive clarity and direction, you can also write them down.
A prayer/faith journal is a very important tool for this step.
* The Mental & Emotional Component *
A cluttered mind and troubled emotions can trap you in one place when you should be moving ahead. A truly balanced life is one where youâre spiritually aligned, mentally sound, and emotionally healthy.
To achieve this, you need to start by tracking your current thoughts, moods, and emotions.
Many Christian women have sacrificed self-care on the altar of making everyone else happy, but you shouldnât do that. Instead, begin to consciously take care of yourself.
Meditate. Track your mood. Engage in self-reflection.
Use a self-care planner to stay mindful of your mental and emotional improvement, and use a habit tracker to target new, empowering habits that support your mental and emotional health.
* The Organizational Component *
Now that weâve talked about how you feel and function, we need to work on what you do and how you do it. It is easy to feel stressed and overwhelmed by so many activities and responsibilities. This can even be harder when you naturally struggle with staying organized or following routines.
These routines are important, and organization is key, but it doesnât need to be rigid or complex. By creating simple routines and systems, you can reduce stress.
With simple steps written in your personal growth planner or digital planner, you can stay organized, set daily or weekly to-do lists, and take consistent actions that help you feel put together.
* The Physical Component *

I like to say that our bodies deserve to be treated better because they hold it all together. This beautiful vessel given to you by God should be treated with love and honor, after all, it is Godâs temple (1 Corinthians 6:19 to 20).
Taking care of your body doesnât mean you need to sign up at the gym, go on a diet, or follow the latest trend. Simple, healthy actions you take daily, such as exercise, eating healthy meals, and sleeping well, can transform your health.
Set and achieve important health goals with general health tracking planners, weight-loss journals, and meal planners that help you to eat right every day.
* Progress Over Perfection *
Now that youâve come so far, it is important to acknowledge your efforts and embrace the progress youâre making. Getting your life together isnât about becoming perfect; nobody can.
Thatâs why chasing perfection only ends in stress, disappointment, and despair.
Choose to be gracious to yourself. Prioritize consistency and incremental improvement. Even the small wins count, because in the end, they become the pillars that support your personal growth.
* Conclusion *
Letâs go back to the question that started it all: What does it mean to get your life together? Getting your life together is a multi-faceted project, entailing spiritual alignment, mental and emotional health improvement, financial stability, and physical health.
Getting your life together is waking up every day with the motivation to do a little better than you did yesterday, and not give up until you achieve your goals and live the kind of life you desire to live.
Now is the perfect time to start taking steps towards a life reset. Start small; use planners and journals to stay consistent, whether for your finances, spiritual life, or physical health.
Use the Faith Journal, Personal Growth Planner, and other recommended planners to get your life on track starting today.
Say yes to getting your life together the faith-focused, practical way, and youâll be glad you did!

How to Clean When You Have No Motivation or Energy
Okay, so I have a secret that I’m going to share, but don’t hate me. Yes, I have undiagnosed ADHD but secretly, I love to clean. In the ADHD world, this take is probably more than a little controversial.
When I frequent ADHD groups and talk to other people who I’m fairly certain have ADHD, cleaning is not something that they enjoy.
But for me not only do I enjoy it but I find it necessary for my own mental health and sanity.
However, there are days when I look around my house, with the dishes piled high in the sink, the laundry needing to be folded (my least favorite part), and the floors littered with crumbs and I say “Nope, not today”. Because sometimes I’m just not feeling it.
On those days, I have no motivation or desire to plug in a vacuum or even prepare the floors so the robot vacuum can do it’s thing. Yes, it can be that bad. So what do you do on those days when you’re burnt out but you’re running out of clean dishes?
That’s what we are going to talk about today because I know we’ve all been there.
Have you been feeling stuck in life lately? Is your heart heavy? Do you feel confused or overwhelmed by everything going on in your life?
Iâm familiar with those feelings, and Iâm here to assure you that youâre not alone.
A lot of women feel this way, especially my neurodivergent ladies: abandoned plans, unaccomplished goals, mental and emotional burnout, and struggles with focus and attention.
When you’ve tried so many times to become a better version of yourself and you feel like you’ve failed, you kinda just want to stop trying.
But youâre not doomed to feel this way forever. I promise.
Youâre Not Stuck. You Just Need a Life Reset. Or maybe more accurately, mini life resets that are manageable and don’t overwhelm you or burn you out.
Every day you’re on this earth, God gives you an opportunity to start over. I have put together 11 life reset ideas to help you achieve the clarity, order, and positive change you need.

15 Reasons to WalkâBecause I Keep Forgetting Why I Should!
Itâs so frustrating and so ridiculous, but itâs true. Here I am, the one who had at one point lost 50 pounds through walking and I still struggle to do it consistently or even remember why I should do it in the first place.
The ADHD tax strikes again. Hereâs the cycle that I fall into, and tell me if you can relate:
I gain weight.
I obsess over finding a solution.
I decide I should walk because that worked so well in the past (even though sometimes walking is boring to me).
I start walking for a few months.
I lose weight.
I get distracted by an infomercial or a YouTube workout video because it looks more âexcitingâ.
I injure myself doing the âexcitingâ workout.
I stop working out altogether.
I gain weight.
Repeat cycle. So, to help me remember why I walk for weight loss so I donât keep getting shiny object syndrome, Iâve compiled a list of all the reasons why walking is so FIRE and why I should never stop doing it.
I hope this list will help you too if you suffer from squirrel brain as well. Oh, and to keep it nice and organized, Iâve divided the list by how walking benefits you physically, mentally/emotionally, spiritually, and one bonus one financially.
