You’re Not Stuck, I Promise… Just Try These 11 Things to Get Your Life Together!

I’m familiar with those feelings, and I’m here to assure you that you’re not alone.

A lot of women feel this way, especially my neurodivergent ladies: abandoned plans, unaccomplished goals, mental and emotional burnout, and struggles with focus and attention.

When you’ve tried so many times to become a better version of yourself and you feel like you’ve failed, you kinda just want to stop trying.

But you’re not doomed to feel this way forever. I promise.

You’re Not Stuck. You Just Need a Life Reset. Or maybe more accurately, mini life resets that are manageable and don’t overwhelm you or burn you out.

Every day you’re on this earth, God gives you an opportunity to start over. I have put together 11 life reset ideas to help you achieve the clarity, order, and positive change you need.

 Shall we begin?

Everything starts with God, because he’s truly the only one who knows what our life should look like.

So, I encourage you to spend time in prayer and reflection. Write your thoughts and take them to God in prayer.

I have found prayer journaling to be very helpful. Write out your heart to God; emotions, confusions, frustrations, and all.

Here’s a good prayer to start with: “God, what do You want me to focus on right now?”

As you prayerfully reflect, God will calm the storm in your life and realign your heart.

My Prayer Journal has helped women reconnect with God during hard seasons, and it can help you, too.

Start your day with prayer, committing your day into God’s hands, and asking him to direct you. Then, write down your growth priorities for the day, and prepare your mind to get started.

A Mindset Growth Planner can help you create a life reset plan with daily actionable steps. But regardless of what tool you use, it’s important to be consistent in order to see results.

I realize how hard this can be. I know I struggle with it too. Give yourself some grace if you don’t do your prayer routine every day but do try and be as faithful to it as you can.

How about taking the bold step to begin decluttering your home, one area at a time? I promise, you’ll feel a sense of peace when you’re done. And then the next day, week, whatever, clean and declutter another section of your house.

Say no to impulsive buying. Plan your budget carefully. Save. Invest, and watch your finances blossom like a tree planted by the waterside.

Did you know that simple exercises like walking, stretching, and yoga can clear your mind and improve your mood and focus? Especially when done daily.

Next time you have a lot on your mind, engage in some simple exercise, and your thoughts will straighten out.

I sometimes journal after my walk, and I’ve found that I’m more motivated, self-aware, and productive after exercising.

Get every random, negative, messy, confused thought out of your brain and onto a ‘brain dump’ page in your journal.

Then fill your brain with scriptures, positive thoughts, and affirmations.

You might have taken a long break from your goals, but it’s not too late to revisit them.

Realign your goals to God’s will. Like scripture says, commit your plans to God and your plans will be established (Proverbs 16:3).

The Mindset Growth Planner can help you set faith-aligned goals and guide you towards achieving them.

Excessive exposure to social media fills your life with noise, lies, and deception. Block out the noise and spend more time discovering the truth from the Bible.

Ask yourself, do you need a digital detox? If the honest answer is yes, then do it.

Embrace scripture journaling as you study and reconnect with truth.

(S)He who walks with wise men will be wise. Surround yourself with people who fill your life with wisdom.

If they’re not around you, get their books or connect with them via social media (yes, I know I just said do a social media fast but some exceptions can be made :)) .

Connect with people and Godly content that relate to your goal, whether spiritual, financial, relationship, or otherwise.

One thing we struggle to do as women is rest. But it’s not God’s will that we’re overwhelmed.

God created the sabbath for you. God himself rested on the 7th day, not because he was tired, but to teach us the value of rest.

So, listen to God; slow down, give yourself grace, and rest.

Reflectively identify what’s working and what’s not working in each area of your life. Take away what’s not working, and pray about the things that need God’s touch.

You’re not at the end of the road. This is a turning point, leading you to a better place- Your best place.

God is ever-ready to walk with you through this life reset if you’ll let him.

I’m here for you as well.
