* 1. Start With Your Faith Foundation*

Here’s one truth I need you to internalize: You can’t truly “get it together” without God at the center.
If you don’t have a strong faith foundation, you can start building one now.
You need to:
- Establish a simple morning prayer routine and be consistent.
- Use a faith journal and record your thoughts, reflections, and prayers.
- Get a Bible study tracker to help you study the bible daily
- Find a devotional that speaks to this season of your life and use it daily.
If you need help to start building a routine, my prayer journal can help you track your spiritual journey.

* 2. Learn From People Who’ve Done What You Want to Do *
With so many podcasts, webinars, audiobooks, blogs, and YouTube videos created by successful people, there is literally no reason to recreate the wheel.
Someone has already done what you want to do and is sharing their knowledge on some online platform. You just have to find them.
Mentors, messages, and books are God’s tools for helping us on our journey. So, take advantage of them.
Here are some actionable steps:
- You want to grow wealth? Follow people on social media who have grown wealth the way you hope to.
- You want to be emotionally mature? Listen to podcasts and videos, and read books on emotional maturity.
- Do you want to get into business or investments? Follow investment channels, read books on budgeting, or listen to podcasts by entrepreneurs.
- Do you need to build knowledge in a field? Read books, blogs, or watch YouTube videos by experts. Once you find some experts you like, see if they have any paid products that can further your knowledge even deeper. Be willing to invest financially in your personal growth. Doing so will get you to your goals 10x faster than just consuming free content.
Confused on where to start? Go to YouTube and type in the specific goal you are trying to reach.
Once you find a video that captures your attention, go to that person’s channel and peruse their list of videos to see if this is a person who has lots of videos you can learn from or if it’s just that one video that appeals to you.
Soon enough, you will find some creators who really speak to you and your specific situation, and you can start to implement the advice that they are giving.
Just make sure you always do your research to see if the advice they are giving you is sound.
* 3. Take Control of Your Personal Finances *
Every woman needs to learn financial stewardship. And no, you shouldn’t wait until you’re rich to start budgeting wisely. If you do that, you may never build wealth.
You need to learn how to save, budget, and give to God and others.
- Try a zero-based budget; justify and approve every dollar before spending (even the hair and nail budget must be justifiable). I’m not great at this but this might work for you. My ADHD gets in the way of my budgeting so much but I have found some amazing budgeting tips that have worked for me lately, that you can read about here!
- Track every dollar spent for 30 days.
- Learn the biblical perspective on managing money. Books like ‘Financial Peace’ by Dave Ramsey and ‘Live. Save. Spend. Repeat’ by Kim Anderson can be very helpful.
- Some printables, like the Christian Girl Personal Finance Planner, can be immensely helpful when you’re trying to get your finances together. You can learn more about it by clicking the learn more button below.

Once you take control of your finances, you’re closer to getting your life together! You’ve got this girl!
* 4. Make Mental Health a Priority *

As women, we sacrifice our mental health in the process of delivering on our responsibilities as wives, mothers, sisters, and friends.
But God cares about your mental health and emotional well-being. He wants you to prosper in body, mind, and spirit.
Here’s how to prioritize your mental health:
Use a Self-Care Planner to monitor your moods and care for yourself actively.
Journal your thoughts and prayers daily.
Get 7-8 hours of sleep every night.
Get your daily dose of sunshine.
Drink 8 glasses of water daily.
Take breaks from work and prioritize rest.
Set boundaries to protect your mental health.
Consider online therapy or coaching.
* 5. Declutter Your Life (Inside & Out)*
Sis, you need a clear mind as much as you need an uncluttered environment.
God wants you to be at peace, and one way to achieve that peace is to declutter your life inside and out.
Here’s how to start:
- Spend 10 minutes daily clearing and decluttering one part of your house
- Confused about where to start? Check out my post on how to declutter when you’re overwhelmed.
- Declutter your digital life: unfollow, unsubscribe, and delete people and pages that aren’t helpful.
- Say no to people and activities that drain you.
When you create space in your life, you make room for good things to enter.
* 6. Get Organized One Step at a Time *
Yes. You need a life reset.
No, it doesn’t happen overnight.
Getting organized is a step-by-step process, and you need a system that helps you achieve it, especially if you have a hard time staying focused
Set up routines in Trello or with printable documents and have them handy.
Start with a habit daily, such as building a simple morning routine (pray, read your bible, and exercise). Just one. I say that because I know how it is, especially when you have ADHD. You set your mind to change your entire life in 30 days.
You go full throttle for a few days and maybe even a week. But eventually, you burn out and you don’t want to do anything at all anymore. Then right back where you started.
So use my crystal ball, see into the future, and prevent this from happening to you. And just know that I’m speaking to myself just as much now as I am to you, if not more.
Batch similar tasks together to promote follow-through and help with decision fatigue.
Use my Personal Growth Planner (coming soon) to stay on track
* 7. Set Small, Spirit-Led Goals *
It’s great to have goals, but spirit-led goals are the best.
Don’t give in to the hustle culture. Make God an active part of your goal-setting and chasing.
Start by:
- Writing down 3 things you want to improve
- Praying over each goal
- Listening for God’s direction
- Take one small step this week
- Use your Goal Planner or Vision Board Journal to track your progress
Don’t rush it. Remember. Progress is still progress, even if it’s slow.
* 8. Let Go of Perfectionism — Aim for Progress *
Sis, God doesn’t expect you to be perfect. He expects you to be faithful and make progress in all areas.
Avoid perfectionism and the desire to “do it all.” Instead, do your best at what God’s placed in your hands
It starts here:
- Don’t compare your progress to others; we’re all on different journeys. So much easier said than done, I know. I fall into this trap all the time and then I have to remind myself to run my own race and not someone elses.
- Celebrate small wins; they motivate you to win bigger. Did you do your morning routine 2 days in a row? YES Girl, you did that! Did you work out for 20 minutes? Whoo Hoo!! I don’t care how small it is. Pat yourself on the back!
- Be gracious with yourself, and leave room for growth; you’re a work in progress. I truly suck at this but I’m learning to give myself grace and you should too.
* 9. Invite God into Every Area of Your Development *
Even the not-so-pretty aspects of your life. Don’t shy away.
Prayerfully ask God to help shape your mindset, break negative habits, temptations, and develop your character. I don’t care if you’ve asked God 5,000 times for help to overcome something. Ask Him 5,001 times.
Surrender everything to God, including your timeline and dreams.
Take steps of obedience and trust God to take over.
Here’s a prayer you can say:
Dear God, I surrender my life to you. I believe your plans for me are great, and I ask for grace to live life according to your plan. When I feel anxious, remind me that your time is the best, and help me to know that you’re walking with me. Amen.
