If you’re looking for some faith journal ideas to take your Bible study routine up a notch then you are right where you need to be my friend!
Faith journaling is a spiritual practice that involves writing down your thoughts and reflections in a journal as a way of deepening your relationship with God and cultivating an intimate worship experience.
While journaling, you can record your thoughts, prayers, dreams, or anything that you feel like you want to reflect on and explore. It is an excellent way to create a space for reflection and self-exploration.
With journaling, you can explore and process your thoughts, feelings, and dreams in a very creative way.
There are many ways to go about journaling—you can start with free-form writing and then move to third-person writing, create a prayer journal, or even begin a gratitude journal.
You can journal just about anything, including your hopes and dreams, your feelings, experiences, observations, creative ideas, and much more! Journaling is a great way to get in touch with yourself, reflect on your life, and have a conversation with God.
It is a wonderful and creative way to spend time with God and receive His guidance, love, and encouragement.
Have you ever tried faith journaling? If not, then you must try it! I know everyone’s always telling you to try this or that but I promise you this time it’s different.
When you create a faith journal, you begin to explore your relationship with Jesus, study the Bible, and pray in a whole new way.
It really is life-changing. Once again, an overused phrase but think about it. How could a strong relationship with God NOT be life-changing? Nearly impossible!Continue reading

Why would someone need to know any biblical affirmations for self-esteem?
Sometimes as Christian women, it can be easy to believe that we have less worth to God in his kingdom and it can really take a toll on our self-esteem!
At least that is how I have felt in the past (and secretly sometimes still do).
Especially when you read the Bible and learn that the roles that God defined for us don’t always line up with the roles the world has defined for us.
I know I have felt less than in Christian spaces because it does sometimes seem like women are not as important to God as men are.
But don’t worry…women really do have worth in God’s eyes. Just look around you; God has done and is still doing great and mighty things through women in various fields of life.
Not only that but if you read the New Testament, you will see just how valuable women were to our Savior, Jesus.
Today, I’ll share some bible verses that can help you get your confidence back. These biblical affirmations for self-esteem will remind you that God loves you no matter how you’ve felt in the past.
Do you believe that practicing spiritual self-care is sinful? Today I’ll share not only why I don’t believe self-care is wrong but also 5 godly ways to practice it!
How much attention do you give to spiritual care practices? Maybe you’ve been too busy or just not given it much thought.
I want you to know that it’s not too late to start. If you asked me this years ago, I’ll probably have given you tips on how I take care of my mental health, my skincare routine, and all sorts.
But I wouldn’t have had much to say about spiritual practices. Don’t get me wrong…I love skincare and mental health routines too.
But our spiritual health is the most important form of health and I’ll be discussing why that is later on in this post.
I’ve created this guide to show you how spiritual care practices can bring peace to your soul.Continue reading
Giving It To God: How To Give Up Control And Trust God
I won’t even lie to you. Giving “it” to God is one of the scariest aspects of being a Christian for me.
I hate being vulnerable, giving up control, surrendering…whatever you want to call it. It’s not my thing. I’d much prefer just being anxious all the time and trying to figure it all out myself. And I seriously wish I was joking, but I’m not.
I’m just keeping it real with you. And it’s highly possible that you feel the same way if you’re reading this!.
I want you to know that you’re not alone…not in the least bit. However, I have learned after many sleepless nights, many spiritual battles, and “wars” with God (“war” is in quotes because really…what kind of war would I really have with God?”) that surrendering to God is really the best option even if I go kicking and screaming as I do it.
Again, I wish I were more compliant, but it goes against my nature.
I’m so grateful, though, that I serve a God that is abundantly patient and kind with me and loves and blesses me despite how difficult I can be to deal with.
I hope that the tips I’m going to share with you today will help you learn to give it to God even if it terrifies you because, at the end of the day, it is the best thing that you can do!Continue reading
How To Memorize Psalms (& Why You Should)!
Being able to recite Bible verses from memory is beneficial for a number of reasons. Besides bringing you closer to God, having his word written on your heart will help not only you but those around you.
Having specific verses to share with others in their time of need may be the healing that a friend or stranger needs in that moment.
Do you like the thought of being able to memorize scripture so that you can share its healing message with others but feel intimidated by the thought of this daunting task?
Don’t worry. Memorizing scripture may not be as hard as you think.
Writing God‘s word on our hearts is very important as you know. But how do we do it? My suggestion is to start by memorizing psalms.
And I’ll be sure to share with you why I recommend that, how to do it, and where to get a free Bible journal (printable and digital) to help make memorizing scripture that much easier.
Let’s get right to it!
How To Organize Your Bible Study Notes
As a woman who has scribbled probably hundreds of notes on my order of worship, I know how hard it is to keep all of those Bible study and sermon notes organized.
It usually goes a little something like this. I’m listening to the sermon and the preacher makes a point that I hadn’t thought of and so I write it down to etch it into my memory.
Of course, I’ve written it on the church program which I know I will eventually throw away. What can you do to organize all of the notes from your Bible classes, sermons, and ladies’ day programs?
Well, that’s what we are going to talk about today because I believe I have several solutions for you that you will love! I’m going to share with you the way I organize my Bible study notes digitally so that I can access them on any device!
Plus, I’ll show you how you can organize them in a binder using paper or journaling printables. Let me tell you how!
How To Start A Spiritual Journal To Grow Closer To Christ
Do you need to connect with God but don’t know where to start? Perhaps you feel ready to start a spiritual journal but don’t know how. Either way, don’t worry…I’ve got you.
As women, sometimes words are not enough to communicate our deepest thoughts, especially when we feel disconnected. One thing I’ve learned is to grab a pen and write exactly how I feel instead of bottling up my emotions.
I also know that it’s sometimes difficult to admit to others that you feel disconnected from God. Most times, we rarely talk about things like this and try to figure them out all alone… but that’s just one more reason why I love journaling so much.
This guide is a safe space; the beginner tips I’ll share here will help you discover yourself and start a fresh spiritual journey with God. Keep an open mind while you read. This is a no-judgment zone. Continue reading
