Mini Calming Anti-Anxiety Toolbox  To Help Boost Your Mental Health On The Go!

1 Corinthians 7:32

“I want you to be free from anxieties.”

Oh man… we want this so badly, don’t we? To be free of anxiety and worry sounds amazing, doesn’t it?

But if I’m being honest, it also sounds elusive.

Like something that we might never have. With the news being at an unprecedented
level of stressfulness (yes I just made up a word), it’s hard to imagine that being free
from anxiety can be an actual “thing”.

I don’t want you to feel this way though.

You can fight and overcome anxiety.

Or at the very least you can reduce anxiety so much that it doesn’t rule your life and rob you of your joy.

The plan God has for your life will start to unfold before you once you stop letting fear and anxiety control you.

What you need is a kit of calming tools and strategies that you can turn to whenever anxiety starts to overcome you.

When you build this kit, you can use it to stop anxiety in its tracks (or greatly reduce it).

Arm yourself with these calming tools so you can have them at your disposal whenever you are in a stressful situation or you know you are able to go into an anxiety-inducing situation.

They will help you cope with whatever comes your way!

The beautiful thing about this mental health toolbox is that you can use this wherever you are…In the car, at work, on vacation, or at home.

And even your kids could use them if they suffer from mental health issues!

Or you could create one to give as a gift to someone you know who struggles with anxiety!

So let’s get started ya’ll!

35 Journal Prompts For Forgiveness To Help Release Pain & Anger

If you’re struggling to forgive yourself or someone else, I know exactly how that feels.

Trust me…you’re not alone.

We all have a past, one that we’re sometimes not proud of… but how can we ever move past our guilt if we don’t forgive ourselves for our sins and past mistakes?

The same goes for when someone we love hurts us; even when (or if) they apologize, it can seem almost impossible to forgive them.

Because it feels like we are letting them off the hook or like they got away with something.

As Christian women, yes, the Bible tells us to love our neighbor as ourselves, but when someone deeply hurts us and we cannot seem to heal, how can we move on from this pain?

One powerful way is with journal prompts!

Let me tell you… journaling has been a powerful tool for exploring my feelings and working through my emotions.

Penning down my thoughts and feelings helped me understand them better and became a great way to release the negative energy that seemed trapped inside me.

Have you found yourself in this same situation? Well, it’s time to let go of your anger and forgive yourself and others.

Grab a pen and paper; let’s get through this journaling journey together!

30 Christian Faith Journal Prompts To Elevate Your Faith & Get Closer To God

Okay, my loves! Today we are going to talk about using faith journal promptsDo you ever ask where God is when everything in your life seems to be going wrong?

I know I have plenty of times!  Sometimes it seems like God isn’t even trying to answer our prayers even though He tells us to pray without ceasing.

It can get to be so frustrating that we start doubting Him.

Thoughts like “Does He hear our prayers?” “And if He does, hear them, does He care” begins to run through our minds.

These doubts and uncertainties are one of the main reasons why I love Christian journaling.

Writing down your prayers, thoughts cares, and fears in a journal is a wonderful way to be able to reflect back on your faith journey and remind yourself that God does indeed care and answer your prayers!

And using Christian journaling prompts is a great way to spark some inspiration when you aren’t sure what to write.  Let’s learn about some of the spiritual benefits of using a Christian journal.

Why Do So Many Teens Leave Christianity As Adults?

This is a conversation that I’ve had many times and you probably have too. Why do so many of our kids that grew up in church leave Christianity when they become adults?

It is said that many teenagers leave the church when they become adults. This is no doubt shocking and sad.

Well, the bible does foretell us of a great falling away in 2 Thessalonians 2:1-3 (I’m not sure if that’s what’s going on or not) but if it is, it is alarming to see it happening right before our very eyes.

It makes you wonder (if this is prophecy) if there is nothing we can do about it. Is it just inevitable that so many people will quote-unquote “fall away”?Continue reading

Bible Truths Every Christian Should Know

Besides knowing that the Bible is the word of God, the nerd in me likes knowing all kinds of facts about the Bible.

Of course, this post could be a million words long and it still never touch the surface of all the knowledge the Bible imparts.

So I just wanted to share a few facts about the Bible that to me reinforce the fact that God inspired it.

No other book could be written the way it has and it not be God’s word.

So exciting, right!Continue reading

Can Christian Women Practice Witchcraft & Still Please God?

I am the queen of going down rabbit holes.

Have you ever started typing a phrase into Google or Pinterest and had a phrase pop up and you just had to know what that phrase was about?

That’s what happened to me on Pinterest.

I was trying to type in Christian women into Pinterest. As I was typing, one of the suggested terms that popped up was Christian witch.

I thought “Wait, what? That’s not a thing. Surely, no Christians practice witchcraft.”

Turns out I was wrong.

Christian witchcraft is a thing.

Except it’s not really a thing and yet some people sincerely believe that it is.

I truly wanted to cry while I was writing this post.

I had no idea that Christian witches existed although I should have known because the devil never rests and is always looking to deceive as many people as possible.

I’m so heartbroken that women are falling into this trap thinking that they are walking with God when they are not. Maybe I should word this post in a nicer way but I can’t sugarcoat this.

As I strive to become more like a Proverbs 31 woman, it’s imperative to “speak with wisdom and faithful instruction”.

I will not mince words.Continue reading
