I’ve weighed over 300 pounds. I’ve lost 65 pounds. I’ve gained 30 back. Once again, it’s been a tumultuous journey to say the least.

My journey with weight loss, beauty, and self-care has been an interesting one to say the least. My guess is that my ADHD like symptoms don’t help me at all when it comes to being consistent with things like weight loss journaling, meal planning. meal prepping, tracking my weight loss, and shoot, even just using a face mask consistently.

The struggle is ridiculous. However, despite my ups and downs, I do have one or two things to share with ya’ll that I think will help you too, on your weight loss journey (😉)

I can certainly relate.

Why I don’t feel guilty when I gain weight & what I do instead

Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit which is probably why the enemy is constantly attacking it.

Losing weight can sometimes feel like you’re getting out of quicksand.

The harder you fight to pull yourself out of the pit the further down you sink.

I sometimes find that I’m in this constant cycle of eating healthy then falling off the wagon and then eating healthy again and then falling off the wagon and then…well, you get the picture.

3 Lazy Girl Hacks Stay Healthy While Traveling Even If You Always Overeat & Get Sick!

I know I’m not the only one.

I be living it up on vacation, food-wise especially. Late morning, late nights, dessert whenever, cheese galore.

I’m not even trying to count calories or track my meals on my WW app.

However, bc diabetes is a reality on both sides of my family and I was prediabetic at one time I can’t go too crazy.

I still have to be aware of my health goals and not forget that my blood sugar could go haywire at any moment.

So because of that, there are certain things that we can do while we are on vacay to keep ourselves (sort of) healthy(ish).

And not only that but I used to get a cold when I went on vacation! Go figure! So frustrating. So I also wanted to find some ways to prevent sickness while I traveled.

These are the ideas I’ve used to keep sickness at bay, be “health-conscious” and still have fun while I travel! And luckily none of them are really that hard to do…so let’s see what they are!
