This has definitely been one of the biggest challenges of my life but in some ways one of my biggest successes (but only because of Christ because on my own, there’s no telling where I’d be).

I have overcome depression. Anxiety…it still creeps up its little ugly head but I’ve got some tools now to push Anxious Ally back down when I need to (or just ignore her altogether…whatever works).

I strongly suspect I have ADHD but since I don’t have an official diagnosis, I won’t claim it. I’ll just say the symptoms are very strong with this one.

Whether I’m neurodivergent or not, this brain that I’ve been blessed (oh how I want to put blessed in quotation marks but I won’t) with, has certainly challenged me far beyond what I would have preferred.

But God has been walking with me through it all and I hope to share some tips with you that will be helpful in your own mental health journey.

If there was ever a time when we need Bible verses to overcome anxiety, it is now!

Why? Because an estimated 40 million Americans are suffering from anxiety.

And while there should be no Christian women counted in that number I know for sure that there are (I am one of them).

Why shouldn’t any of us struggle with anxiety?

Because Jesus told us about a million different times not to be anxious ( give or take a few times).

Yet so often we still can’t overcome the constant worry and doubt that plagues so many of us.

Today we are going to talk about affirmations to stop procrastinating (and so much more)! Why?

Because you know the Lord is calling you to do something different with your life. Not just like buying a new Bible or praying a little bit longer or trying that new Sunday school class.

No, He wants you to do something big. Radical. Scary (yikes). And he’s been wanting you to do it for a while now…like maybe even years.

And you keep saying to yourself that one day you’ll actually do it…
