If you’re trying to get in shape but aren’t really about that gym life or you’re still on lockdown restriction then don’t worry…

What you can do is to try walking at home!
You do not even need to invest in a treadmill (although I’m looking to buy one before the year ends)!
Let’s admit it.
A treadmill is quite an investment! I mean yeah it’s a worthy one but it can cost up to $1000 for a good quality one.
Fortunately, you don’t have to pay all of that money to lose weight and get fit…trust me.
The truth is, you can still achieve your fitness goals by walking at home without a treadmill!
Don’t believe me?
Well, if you didn’t know already, I lost about 50 pounds just by walking an hour serveral days a week and eating healthier!
I’ll be sure to tell you more about my walking routine that I used to lose 50 pounds.

You’ve just collapsed onto your couch after completing day one of your new workout.
You know this time you’re really going to lose weight.
It’s just that the HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout you just did wore you out and you know tomorrow your body will feel sore and beat up.
But do you have to do such hardcore exercise to lose weight?

For some reason, a lot of us who are embarking on a new weight loss journey believe we have to do back breaking workouts in order to lose weight.

Naw, girl (or dude).
You can lose weight by walking for an hour a day or even as little as 4 days a week.

Review On The Fitbit Alta HR
I know why you’re here.
You know you’re sitting too much.
You feel like you’re glued to your office chair at work or the couch at home for far too much of your day.
You heard that sitting was the new smoking (yikes!) and you’re up to 3 packs a day.

Honestly, it happened almost as if by magic.
I lost 50 pounds partially due to my walking regimen and it was almost painless.

For me, besides writing, traveling is life.
Well okay, it’s not quite that serious but it’s pretty major. My heart pounds at the mere thought of hopping on a plane that’s bound for a far off land and exploring a new culture and meeting new people.
For me, it’s Jesus, family, writing with traveling following closely behind.
The wanderlust is strong with this one.
However, there are ummm, how do we say, obstacles that get in the way of me traveling as much as I need to (and I do mean need):
3. Being out of shape
Now, I know you can travel if you’re out of shape.
But when I went to London over 10 years ago, we did a whole lot of walking.
And when I say a whole lot, I mean in the sedentary kind of way.
No, we weren’t walking 15 miles a day but we were doing 8,000 to 10,000 steps a day.
